Of Spring

Short Description:

Tumbling rhyme

Poem (Canso):

Given their second chances,
In the sky, the sun dances,
Rays outstretched like many lances.
White clouds making their advances
Like nightingales and their romances.
Light on the water, springtime glances;
Heat on the flower buds enhances.
Silver dancing in the stream,
Drifting as if in a dream.
The wise hawk with his great scheme,
His talons as sharp as they seem,
in his eyes a wicked gleam,
finds a dinner to redeem.
Rebirth amidst the suffering –
The greatest and smallest thing
Triumphantly together sing
of the joy that they may bring:
“Such is the beauty of the spring.”
